Rice-New Mexico in the Pit
Tough game tonight. NM is big--6-4 and 6-5 at the guards, 6-7 and 6-8 at forward and 7-1 post. The Pit has a reputation as one of the loudest arenas in the nation. Don't know how their Bowl Game today will effect attendance. The game is on TV in Houston on 710 Comcast.

RE: Rice-New Mexico in the Pit
I thought Evans hit a three but then realized that I had just been JP'ed. But then Egor got one on the next possession so it wasn't so bad.

44-38 New Mexico at he half. Several minute dry spell late in the half hurt.

Lobos close out the half on a 17 - 2 run to take the lead.

Nice game for the first 10 minutes or so. Lack of depth killing us.

It's very difficult to listen to this game on the radio.. Lots of confusion on whether free throws are made or not, and more excitement for New Mexico than Rice!

Sounds like typical road officiating from the radio broadcast. Be nice to have a run to make it close

I'd like to see Evans back in the game. We need the scoring threat on the floor.. If he fouls out, so be it.

They heard you! Nice shooting performance after Thursday. We aren't going to have 5 guys on the court if they keep calling all these fouls.
