Archie would be first.

Underwood, next

Realistically speaking.

Neither of those are realistic.

Yes they are.

Now what?

Ok, Underwood is a possibility. Not a sure thing though because he has turned down jobs the past 2 years to stay. Think his sights are on a solid P5 job.

Archie ain't coming. He has had and will have his choice of better situations than ours.

Wade - You talking about the new HC at VCU? He ain't leaving there after 1 year to come here. Wade Houston might.

Hurley - Bobby? I'd love to have him. He ain't leaving ASU after 1 year to come here.

Boston is making a long term investment in him. He's their Mike Tomlin. Celtics are arguably THE job in basketball - period. Much brighter future than the Lakers.

Underwood is 68-11 at SFA (where he beat Memphis at FEF), and not only made the NCAAs, but advanced (which is super impressive for a school like them)

he also killed it as HC at Dodge City CC, going 70-24.

you act like 52 is old...look at Larry Brown or Fisher at SDSU.

yeah, I'd be excited by that...

Ok, cool. I haven't really followed Underwood's career. So I don't get how it took him 25-30 years to get a HC gig. I just don't think he's the guy that's going to get everyone excited and back in the fold. But the more I look at it, the more I think this is exactly the kind of candidate we're going to get.

You're hardly ever going to get that guy with a new hire unless you luck into a Calipari situation where the stars aligned.

But once he signs his first 'big' recruit and puts a team on the floor that fans appreciate, it won't take long to sellout the FEF again.

^ this. I am not sure why we need someone that is going to reenergize by his name alone. We need to look for an up and coming coach that has successful head coaching experience at smaller schools. Just get the job done and a lot of people will be back

I can't even watch anymore. It's like watching a men's church league game out there when I do watch

That's true. Just a word of caution to those thinking we're hiring Greg Marshall or Archie Miller. Not happening.
