Obvious ball hog lol

Yep, Pastner should have let him be a real ballhog when he was in college.

I'm giving Dedric a pass so far. The dude gets deep post position in the offense and they don't get him the ball. I'm sure he can see what we all see, that he's the most talented guy on the court. So if you didn't trust your teammates to give you the ball and you don't trust them to make shots, what would you do? I would shoot.

Dedric is far worse as his shot selection and turn over margin is far worse. Like a contested 3 with 3 guys on him.

He's shooting the same TS% as Austin did last year and is third on the team in Assist Rate this season. He's a different player than Austin, but he and Austin both shot 27% of our shots in each respective year.

Dejaun Wagner for sure. Barton was a ball hog, but he also could pass. Wagner never did.

I guess by definition Nickles was the last. Preceded chronologically by Will the Thrill, then Wagner. You could say the Lawson's but I think the jury is still out there.

What you are missing is that ALL of these players were promised this by the coach. That was the plan. It's how you get 5-stars to come to Memphis. You promise them everything will run through them.

How can a post man be truly a ball hog? Someone has to throw it to him

Anyone can be a ball hog. It's the guy that ALWAYS stops the ball. They check in, but they never check out.

You're usually a little quicker than that.

Obviously a blame the player thing. But sometimes it's more fun just to play like someone is wanting real information.

Well usually the OP waits until the player leaves before he starts bashing him. Must be getting desperate

I was gonna say the same thing.
Hubie Brown drafted him and said he may have been the most talented player he ever drafted and yet he still cut him. That's wild stuff.

Bradley far and away worst ball hog to suit up for the Tigers. He was the kind of player you really didn't have to guard much. If he was on, there was nothing you could do to stop him. If he came out and missed his first couple of shots, he wasn't going to hit anything. There was one thing that was absolutely constant about him though, if he got the ball he was going to shoot it.

Au contraire BLUTO----I let the first accusation pass (post 45)----but now I will respond. I don't bash players. The players who make the choice to transfer-(not asked to leave)- I do sometimes refer to them as WHO-- when they make that choice---they are no longer TIGERS in my opinion---they become prey.

On another matter----did you notice ---the game before OLE PISS I think-----we were running out the clock-----Pastner instructed the team not to shoot (as he always does)----our player shot the ball anyway. When Josh walked to shake hands with the opposing Coach--- the mic picked up Pastner saying, sorry about that last shot.

My question, is Josh being held hostage so-to-speak. I think in the past ---if that would have happened---the player shooting that shot---would have had ten tendenitis or something. Is he afraid to bench or rein in the new players-----fearing that they might threaten to go elsewhere. Has he lost control, or has he ever had control in the past years. Thinking of other Coaches, what would they do if a player shot---when they were told not to.

On the other hand-----where would we be this year----without the new players---I shutter to think.

Did anyone catch Gaston's comment on the call last night? "Man KJ really like to shoot doesn't he".

There is no doubt this thread was about KJ. Dedric had 5 assists last night and 3 of the best passes of the year in a row. I think when a team has to depend on you to score and your very good at it (Nichols, Dedric, Wagner), your not so much a ball hog. #1 on the list anyway is Derrick Chew....
