No.. I legitimately do like field, it looks very well done. I'm just note sure what that is in the outfield.. Is it a house under construction?

That is one of the new apartment style dorms Tech has been switching to. Tearing down the old "Stalin-ish" era high rise dorms and replacing with that type. Students seem to prefer from what I have heard.

This photo provides a look at what Tech, on their official web site describing the field, considers to be one of their ball park assets. Look through the opening in the pine trees to right of scoreboard beyond right field fence and you can see the railroad embankment which they "boast as a large picnic and viewing area that is popular with their fans and "Right Field Rowdies". New turf looks good.

It is a sloped grass viewing area. Its a quirky area that students use to feel a little different than others sitting in the stands. What's your point?

My point is that picture gives one an excellent view of the "area beyond the outfield fence" that is allegedly utilized by fans and the "Right Field Rowdies". It is the Kansas City Southern Railroad from which law enforcement officers have, at times in the past, evicted those who set up shop on the right of way which is where one would want to be in order to be high enough to see over the fence.

He sure does. I don't know any of this stuff EE is talking about. I'm beginning to think EE lives in Ruston. He seems too connected to LA Tech, and seems to definitely have an agenda. A "disgruntled employee" as they say......

Go to latechsports.com, click on facilities, click on J.C. Love Field and educate yourself. The Kansas City Southern railroad track running by is common knowledge.

Yes that is the KC Southern railroad. It has been there for years and is still active, even during Tech baseball games. That area is still very safe for fans and provides a different view than from the stands. Are you just bored and trying to create more dumb "EE drama"?

Yes, I knew about the RR track because I went to college there. It's just really scary to think you --an apparent LA Tech hater-- would spend that kind of quality time looking up and investigating such minutia. You are a truly sick individual.

Looks very nice, much better than the red turf at UH. I still like baseball on real grass but I understand how it can be an issue for college ball.

Almost as creepy as Tech fans driving around the ULL campus and taking pics of any missing L's.
