On top of mb's reply, I believe some have the entire tournaments this way of I'm not mistaken. The thing that makes no sense for cusa is having a game between number 11 fiu vs number 14 utsa in Birmingham. Those fans aren't going. None of us give a damn. I would literally prefer watching a high school game.
LaTech would have gone to the Final Four last year if only CUSA had held its tournament that way.
This is true. Uab hosting the tournament is the only reason they didn't make that run.

Would like to see a format where all teams go and some get double byes or better. CUSA needs all teams and fans to know they will be attending and make the tourney an option with all season ticket pkgs for all teams.

I would too if we had teams who cared. The three fans we don't get from utsa, and the f_u's don't do anything for the conference. If they don't want to see their teams play, why would any of us?
