Top Ten Average Attendance/Stadium Capacity
BYU Indy 58,532/64,045
Temple AAC 44,159/68,532
Memphis AAC 43,802/59,308
East Carolina AAC 43,274/50,000
Cincinnati AAC 37,096/40,000 <-- need new capacity
Houston AAC 33,980/40,000
Boise St. MWC 33,612/36,387
Navy AAC 31,669/34,000
Army Indy 30,991/38,000
UCF AAC 30,065/44,206

I feel dirty defending TCU, but their stadium's official capacity is 45k.

Wow! They had TWO games in 2015 that reported 48K attendance.

Big cities mean more entertainment options to compete with. Makes the AAC numbers look even more impressive.

I believe the actual seating capacity at TCU is under 45,000.....44,000+. I do not know about the 48,000 figures, but they do have an area in one end zone that they sell standing room only...there are no seats

Not bad for us considering the year we had. I am sure the games from early in the year really helped the average. I think we stay over 30k again next year at minimum. We should win atleast a few games and people around here are really excited about seeing the new coach and offense he is bringing. I'll call it now and make a bold prediction: our first home game of the year will be over 40k in seats, we host Maryland on 9/17.

Independence is taking a toll on BYU's attendance. 57K last year. 58K this year.

Compare an average 63K over the last three years of MWC play.

Correct. Same reason why SMU has had several 35K+ crowds in Ford Stadium's history despite a 32,000 capacity.

Yes, from 63k to 57k is a horrible noticeable drop-off... But 57k to 58k isn't, I see it more like slowly improving back to their average numbers, IMO.
