It was.

No, I was just poking fun at all the "winning is hard" hubub in the past. Thought it was funny he just said losing is hard. So now every outcome of a game is hard.

You are right True Blue, Josh has been better this year. Seems like Bowen or somebody talked to him, and to his credit Josh listened/adjusted.

Wolo, on the other hand, is beyond help.

I like his "walk-off" halftime interview.

"It's ridiculous!"

Its comical to me to hear folks criticize Josh on his PR. Josh has grown in that area greatly. Its funny to hear people criticize that area that have never had a Mic or Tv in their face. It takes time to handle that side of the job. Josh didnt handle it great at first but thats is normal. He has done much better the last couple years. criticizing Josh on our of bounds plays or who has ball in their hands at end of the games is fair but this stuff is comical.

I hope you weren't referring to me, because I am serious. I really like the new way he handles his halftime interviews.

I got you snooker lol. I understand that you were just poking fun. But I guess that it bothers me a bit that so many posters just plain and simply refuse to give this man credit for improving. Thankfully I'm not an ex con, because I see the mindset of society in our fan base. I see improvements in coach in every aspect, coaching and PR, but it's common to see post concerning what happened in the past as justification for not giving him a chance or the team, for that matter. I said in another thread that yes, I believe that the fans will get their wish, and this good man is going to have a very successful career elsewhere.

I am with everyone when I say I have been disappointed in his performance the past few years, but I see a change in him on the sidelines and in interviews. I can only hope this means maybe he is figuring some things out, but nonetheless the crowds at the game have been pathetic. This team is not best we've ever had, but there is a ton of potential and the guys are putting in the work. I like facial expressions of players, don't seem selfish but yet want to win as a TEAM! I'm more excited about this team than any really because the Lawson's are for real and they are winners!!! Let's get out and support the TEAM even if we don't fully agree with the staff, its not the kids fault, they don't pick the coaches. Yet they come out every night and play pretty dang hard! The TEAM deserves our full support.. Go tigers go!!!

Oh and another thought for everyone to ponder on. Think about how good dedric is @17, kj has a bulldog attitude and will be huge for us in the future. Chandler will probably be better than them both. With our support and standing behind this team, the Lawson's could end up be biggest thing in Memphis since Elvis.. That's a fact jack..

Agree on the Lawson's. Without them, we'd be in deep. Josh needs to thank his lucky stars.

Not sure about Chandler. His size is impressive. he can do reverse dunks in warmups. I wasn't totally impressed with his game, but he's still got a long way to go. He's got the most important attribute, which is genes.

Dedric turned 18 in October - that's a fact.

We've known about the Lawson's for years, not sure what your point is.

Of course he won't cure cancer or destroy ISIS. And he probably won't beat many teams with talent equal to ours this year. But keep jumping from thread to thread with your nonsensical defenses of our coach.

The nonsense is on your part, after all he can't coach or recruit as well as the wannabe coaches on this forum can. The Tigers are winning because the other teams are crappy. Your favorite team well be here Friday, you can root for them.

Well, he does have a valid point. Do the break-down of JP's wins by RPI and get back to us.

Smith, I guess you are disagreeing with me, but not sure.

But you are right, most on this forum don't care that we beat a lot of - to use your word - crappy teams. Smith, I honestly think you could coach us to home victories over teams with RPIs below 200 who probably road the bus for 10 hours the day before to get here. So their school could get a $75k check to help fund their program.

We care about beating our share - not 100% of the time - but at least our share of teams with similar talent to ours. And occasionally making a run - not every year like Cal did late in his tenure - but maybe every 3-4 years making a run in the NCAA tourney.
