With the students now on break, this would be a great game to offer some sort of promotion to try and generate a decent crowd. Two for one tickets,donate food and get in for $5, or something along those lines. It would not hurt to have some sort of hype on the Tribe's radio stations, also. Obviously this is a great game leading into CAA play

One promotion they do is all students get 10 free tickets to games over break, so maybe some students will come down with ttheir frineds/family.

I understand that this is a hackneyed expression, but so what it's true; this is the most important game of the year!

We won't know until game time, but will Tarpey play and, if he does, will he be close to 100%?

This is an important game and I'd love to see Tarpey play, but it is not so important as to risk aggrevating his injury just before the CAA season begins.

Season ticket holders get 10 free tickets just like the students. All the season ticket holder has to do is call the ticket office and tell them who to leave the tickets for at will call.

While High Point can't be called a three man team, the Panthers are led by three players (all Seniors) who do most of the heavy lifting.

John Brown (of course), the 6'8" Sr. Forward, is the real deal. There could be as many as 5 NBA scouts at the game. He is averaging 20.3 ppg and 7.5 rpg. He works exclusively inside and is a beast on the boards.

Lorenzo Cugini takes care of the outside work. The 6'7" Sr. Forward is one of the best long range shooters in the country. He is currently in the Top 25 of shooting percentage in the NCAA and most of his shots are from outside (makes over 60% of his shots from 3 point range). He shoots 55% overall and hasn't missed from the FT line this season. He is averaging 14.3 ppg and 4.2 rpg.

Adam Weary, 6'3" Sr. Guard, is a solid assist man, who also averages 11.3 ppg and 3.7 rpg.

The Big 3 account for 46 points, 15.4 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game. We will need to take, at least, one of them out of their game.


Anthony Lindauer (6'3" Jr. Guard) is their other 3 point threat. They beat Drexel 75-66 and lost, last time out, to NC State 76-73.

They come in with a solid 8-3 mark, having not lost a game by more than 4 points (all to Power 5 teams). We need to bring our A game tonight.

Obviously I want Tarpey healthy for CAA play but sounds like we could really use him tonight.

Any word on the radio why Seacat isn't here?

Refs are letting a lot go on both sides. In particular the point of emphasis of grabbing is really bad.
