It doesn't bother me to read these from any fanbase. The title says what's in the thread. If you don't care than skip over it.
It's not like people are actually posting about every commit, so there's no harm in a few random recruiting morsels (from any fanbase). I read about the Memphis Juco QB commit yesterday on this board. Good get.

It's hard to believe in reading this forum, but there are actually adults that visit this board that mostly attempt to have mature and mostly objective conversation around conference sports. No one could ever recognize those folks exist here, but they do.

D'Eriq King has yet to make a decision, but speaking of ESPN 300/4 star recruits, Refugio, TX's Jaylon Mascorro (QB/ATH) has committed to Houston! Herman is the man.

we a dont have any more schollys to offer him...we have already added 3 rb recruits, a 2017 rb recruit and have a top 250 rb transfer....we wanted him bad earlier and were top 2 before he originally committed but have since gotten a few rb recruits

i hope smu gets him, i honestly feel your current rb stock lacks a true athletic power back...your current and undersized fast guy, or no offense not very athletic .... darius is big and has some make you miss ability with 4.5 speed

we only have 2 scholly's left, and we are targeting 2 highly touted transfers and the kid in the OP of this thread

I like these threads since we Army fans are unfamiliar with a top 300 athlete.

Perhaps, I don't know. I'm happy with what we have at RB. Brandon Wilson, Duke Catalon, Javin Webb is pretty filthy. Mulbah Car is a question mark, but I like what I see on tape.

we are currently high for a former all american oline grad transfer from Michigan (us, wazzu or ole miss) , we are top 4 for former gatorade player of the year, former top 10 recruit kyle allen, and deriq king in the OP (4star qb) we are currently the tied with cal as likely landing spots for him

we are taking all 3 of those over a "high 3 star" rb in A position we are currently loaded

this guy just transferred 3 months ago and has 3 years of eligibility starting next year

Texas is waiting on Porter and Whaley at running back. Houston has already added 4 backs since August (Justice, Catalon, Crookshank, Car in '16 class). Numbers are tight and we have more important positions that we'd "make room for" anyway. Will be a nice get for smu if they seal the deal.
