You're preaching to the choir

Some rows have chairbacks. Not sure why all don't.

Chairbacks or bench with backs?

Club seats and cabana are Chairbacks. Needs to cover all non student sections.

I really think your stadium would look nice with all chairbacks (excluding the student sections). Most students don't need or appreciate them the way an alumnus would. Besides, the way they move, benchbseating is what they seem to prefer anyway.

Those people are making a killing. They should be giving money to UCF for all the free publicity.

Just like ECU, most of BHNS is bleacher seating with chairbacks in premium seating areas...while UCF has back bench seating in all sideline booster sections (end zones don't have back benches).

There is zero need to cut capacity by 6,000-8,000 by replacing most bleacher sections with individual chairback seats....hence why 95% or more of all colleges football stadiums have majority bleacher seating.

Shouldn't cut capacity by much unless you're saying the seat space is much smaller on the bench vs a normal chair seat. I don't buy that. Either way all that looks terrible and really shows every single open seat. We need to make the stadium more visually appealing. The student section would remain the same.

Yes, individual chairback seats take up a lot more room than bleacher seating...hence why teams can have greater capacity at less cost...hence why there are only a handful of college football stadiums with mostly chairback seating (Louisville is one with mostly individual chairback seating...hence the cost and capacity...as a similar bleacher stadium that size would probably have a capacity around 70,000 or so instead of 56,000.)

Bench with backs.

Be careful what you wish for. Those things are fcking horrible unless the stadium was designed for them. Kenan Stadium @ UNC is an example. You sit with your damn knees wedged into back of the seat in front of you and everyone has to stand up every time someone leaves a seat. I hate that fcking place.

Much of BHNS already has bench backs (sideline sections that are not individual chairbacks) as the stadium was designed for them and they are fine.

Now the bench backs at UCF's tiny baseball stadium (most switched to chairbacks) were insanely tight and made walking infront of others almost impossible...especially for a sport that has 2 breaks per inning.

Dang right!!

If UNF in Jax can have a lazy river around a dorm...UCF can get one around BHNS.

And?

The key for UCF was adding NEW donors to their rolls...as UCF doesn't have private school oil sugar daddys like some other institutions, UCF has to make it up with their alumni base in quantity.

Bottom line, its still pretty darn impressive for a new UCF AD (not SMU AD), to bring in 4 new donors at the 6 figure level in less than a week and a half, (which was clearly stated in thread title), especially after an 0-12 football season.
