I'm glad Memphis has a fairly weak schedule and 7 home games for Norvell's first season.

SEMO (FCS), Kansas, BGSU, Tulane, SMU, Tulsa, etc...some winnable games on there.

I'm not making a prediction on how we'll do other than to say we'll have a very good, possibly outstanding year. However, if there is any year to beat FSU, this is it, and I predict at least a 50% chance of doing so for USF.

Ding, Ding, Ding!!!

We also need DC Tom Allen to return as DC next year!

You sure you guys don't want Breshanana back? No charge, just an xmas gift from your friends up I-4

Tulsa seems to be a toss up next year. It's gonna depend on how much our defense can improve because the offense should really be clicking next season.

More than that though, I think it's going to come down to how much or how little drop off Memphis and Navy have that will determine how far Tulsa goes in the West Division.

Honestly, if Auburn offers Tom Allen the DC position, he's probably gone. They can probably offer him between 750K-1M a year. We can't match that. We can probably bump up his salary up to 500K with Taggart's new deal (he's making 350 now).

I hope Allen has been grooming an understudy who can step in and implement defensive scheme if he's gone.

I still don't know why you guys hired Bresnahan. He was absolutely terrible at USF. The Defense improved about 500% after he left and I suspect yours will too.

West
1. Houston - loaded and still have the benefit of the softer of the east teams on the schedule
2. Memphis - new staff is a question but there is a LOT of talent on the roster
3. Navy - lost their qb but kept their coach
4. Tulsa - some talent but losing their coordinators to texas is a blow
5. SMU - need another year to crawl out of the hole they were in
6. Tulane - defense is good enough but wheres the offense?

1. USF - too bad they wont butt heads with Houston next season unless both make the champ game
2. Temple - probably not much difference between the Owls and USF to be honest
3. Cincy - time for Tubberville to step up
4. UCONN - could be next seasons USF
5. ECU - more talent than you might think, was firing Ruffin their "Jeff Bower" moment?
6. UCF - made what looks like a good hire, but theres too much damage for a new coach to repair in a single season

If both live up to expectations, this might actually be a good thing. You want your highest ranked teams meeting in the CG.

Fine, I'll play along. This is all just for fun anyway.

West:
1. Houston
2. Tulsa
3. Navy
4. Memphis
5. SMU
6. Tulane

East:
1. USF
2. Temple
3. UConn
4. Cincinnati
5. ECU
6. UCF

Don't take my predictions too seriously, I put about 5 seconds of thought into them.

I am not sure where we finish...but I am sure our conference from top to bottom is going to be good. I think our conference will eat each other but we will have a surprisingly good OOC record next season, especially for a non P5.

Our parity will be the only thing that stops us from the NY6 bowl....but I think Houston will get it.

We had 29 yards of offense the first half and still had the lead with under two minutes in 4th Quarter against USF.

Did you watch the ECU/Tulsa game??????

Cincinnati, flip a quarter, but I give it you.

It's a little early to be arguing over next year's predictions - but if we are going to rely on this year to predict the next, do you think he watched the ECU/UConn game too?????

I'm not predicting Cincinnati to do any better than .500 next year because we have the worst coach in the league. I got burned this year and won't be burned again.

I don't know if he is the worst coach but he's aweful. I see a steady diet of 7-5/6-6 type years while he is here.

So many changes in the West with coaches and coordinators. Other than Houston, wide open.

Don't think the conference is going to skip a beat next year. Maybe even better...

I think Memphis and Navy will be down some, but USF will be up, and others will improve enough to make a difference overall.
