250k and 3 years in prison ain't nothing to sneeze about. My guess is someone is going to end up being the "example" for this rule.

Really bad near DFW airport. I forget how many encounters had been reported. They are also getting laser tagged like crazy and the cops/Homeland are all over that.

here's how much the world has changed: when I was a kid in grapevine, we would go to DFW and ride the airport "plane trains" for fun - no security, ticket, nothing.

Doesn't seem that awful long ago that I could (not purposely) show up at the airport and park 30 minutes before my flight and still make it.

I can still do that @ MEM.

Can still do that at DAL as well, as long as you have TSAPre. Just stay the hell out of DFW.

I miss the Memphis airport because it is so easy to get in and out of physically.

Little Rock is the same way.

Love Field is not so bad though it has grown a lot the last 10 years.

DFW is a zoo.

The easiest airport I've ever been through has to be John Wayne International in Anaheim. Our flight left at 8 and we made our way to the airport late...turned in the car at 7, checked in at 7:15, and still had a little time to grab a quick breakfast.

Denver is a fun airport. If you have a long layover, you can ring up a limo service for a ride to a doobie store. They take you there and let you ride around in their limo while you get high, then bring you back to the airport.

No, I don't do that, but it is quite civilized of them to offer the choice. I expect some folks never found their concourse again, though, and have taken up residence in the airport itself.

They need doobie stores inside the airport. Best layover ever.

I've never been a big fan, although their first album was pretty good.

This thread is a great example of starting a story told to the next person, then to the next and so on. And by the time it has been told 20 to 25 times it will have nothing to do with the original story. We went from register your drone, to riding the shuttle, to quick airports in and out, know what I mean, say no more. To limo rides from the airport to the grunge shop to the first Doobie Bros album. So I just booked a limo. Say no more.
