RE: Good story about Ingram.
I figured that Ingram was a good guy that just didn't have the best timing with jokes. I've never straight up been against him, but I do feel pretty indifferent. It's nice that you guys feel better about him, though.

RE: Good story about Ingram.
As Col. Potter said in a M*A*S*H episode, it takes a little time for a new guy to make any job his own. Ingram probably will do that over time and with greater opportunity. BTW, How did he just happen to have that new shirt with him and was it in the right size?

RE: Good story about Ingram.
Now that is a good Ingram story and Watts story. I sat behind Watts and didn't say anything derogatory to him. That is a major accomplishment for me. I am getting used to a neutered president. May be just what we need.

Tim Alexander hugged Watts at graduation. It's time to move on. Forgive but don't forget. Watts should always be the person on the outside looking in. He should never be considered part of the true #UaBFamily but more like a visitor you really don't know much about. Be polite but be ready to defend yourself - just in case. If Watts wants more than that, we need a public mea culpa with full truthful information of when, who and why related to the Dec 2, 2014 event.

Can someone direct me to Blazertalk? My computer seems to be misdirecting me to some alternate universe website.

Good for Tim Alexander. I'm not ever moving on from what watts did. He needs to go, he's needed to go for a long time. in case you forgot, every group that had the power called for his head. It wasn't strictly about football, and that hasn't changed.

& Watts didn't become a good person overnight.
He has a reason for toning it down.
A billion reasons in fact.

In pictures I have seen of him at the games his old lady isn't by his side.

I've seen at least one picture this season where she was.

RE: Good story about Ingram.
So, anyway, back to Ingram.

I said when the position was open that you'd have be a nut or a masochist to take the gig. When Ingram was hired, and his bailiwick was purportedly fundraising, I thought, good luck getting a dime out of a pretty pissed off fanbase.

My feelings toward Watts has not changed. If I should encounter him, he'll get the same sneer of contempt he's been getting. Ingram, on the other hand, I'm trying to maintain an open mind. Stories like this are pieces to the puzzle toward figuring the guy out. I'm glad you shared it, AB.

This. Ray has not forgotten, or forgiven. Ask Shannon Ealy. Ask Dave Henze. Ask Kathy Kennedy.

Aesop did not originate the tale of the scorpion and the frog - it was actually Orson Welles - but it's worth remembering all the same. Ray's cowardly and vindictive nature has not changed, no matter how often the image consultant tells him to mingle with the rabble.

Ray Watts went to basketball games before he became President. Maybe it's not a PR move, but he likes basketball.

I have seen her with him. I also noted that they left with about 2:30 to go in a very tight Jax St. game. Have to beat the traffic to the valet parking.
