That's the point; get mentioned with those more accomplished basketball programs year in and year out. It hasn't happened at Rice for a long, long time. But we have made some big investments in the facilities and coaching.

By the way, Rhoades beat Western Kentucky and UAB last year.

Quite possibly the biggest embarrassment for the A10 was seeing the school who could be its champion getting thumped by the Big East's doormat.

Oakland was up by 13 against the top-ranked Spartans, and Sparty needed to go to overtime to get the best of them.

BYU 82 OT
Only an upset because Harvard has been erratic this season.

Dayton 64
UMOH 63
UMOH had them by two at the break.

I wish they'd suspend play during semester breaks. Until you pay the kids money, not this "they get a scholarship" gibberish, let them enjoy the holidays. TV will survive without this background noise, believe me.
