12/15

It's like updates on a game from the future.

Go Bucs! I guess.

RE: WBB vs Armstrong State 12/15
Tianna is back after missing an entire month with the Bucs 2-6 in her absence and, thankfully, looking very much like her old self, although a little rusty offensively. She played 34 minutes with 4 assists, 7 points and 7 steals, and controlled the tempo.

The Armstrong State team that they beat handily was the 20th ranked D2 team in the nation, coming in at 8-1. They were deep, athletic, with good length, great hustle and well coached. They could easily beat at least 3 of the SoCon teams.

Sophomore Malloree Schurr and JUCO Senior Shomari Kendrick are coming along nicely, each with 8 points and 7 rebounds, learning where to be and how to make their skills count.

Freshmen Sadasia Tipps, who is averaging 7 rebounds and Carley Lytton also look promising.

We got just a little taste of Freshman Raven Dean, the powerful 6'1" daughter of 2 time NFL Pro Bowler Muhsin Muhammed, with enough ball skills that Coach Ezell has her bringing the ball up court. She will be a very interesting player to watch develop.

A very promising game for the Lady Bucs who have struggled without Tianna, but who are now 2-0 with her on the court. And more fun on Sunday afternoon than watching another NFL game.

I guess I got distracted watching the game. Oops. Fixed.
