Didn't have to give the money back they earned on the prestige. Didn't have to give back the TV coverage or the exposure or the donations made based on those wins. I'd say they still came out ahead.

I think Kansas and Virginia were the only teams in the range of past champions since 2001 for the AdjO/AdjD kenpom chart. Nova was just slightly outside of it, if I remember correctly.

Either way, this weekend just goes to show that the best team don't always win.

Anybody but Syracuse is good with me now. Cheaters shouldn't be rewarded.

Cheating always pays in college athletics, it's laughable to think it doesn't. Do you think anyone cares about cheating when Syracuse hangs a Final Four banner? No, they just talk about their remarkable run, which isn't really that remarkable at all.

What, if anything, is happening with the Tarheels? They were in the tourney last year and this, and their football team went to a bowl. After 20 years of phantom classes for athletes - how hard is it to come to a decision?
