Congrats Navy!
I meant to post this yesterday, but could not get on the site.

Great victory over Army. Great season!

I was comparing Navy's performance this year to the 2004 season when Navy went 10-2. The wins are better this season, and so are the losses. According to the Massey composite, it's not even close (19th this year, 44th at the same time in 2004). So this is the best Navy season since at least 1963. WOW!!

Good luck in the bowl and we are all hoping the offseason goes well for you either in keeping Coach Ken or replacing him with a star.

RE: Congrats Navy!
Thanks, but was not a typical performance by the Mids. It looked as if they were distracted by Coach Ken's potentially leaving for BYU.

Any word on that?

Or maybe Army came to play, made plays, called a decent (with a few groan worthy exceptions) and is better than their record says.

We lost 7 games by 6 points or less.

combination of both... Army played a great defensive game. But in the end so did Navy. That was a tough 4th qtr for Army fans to watch.....

I think the Army QB showed some real moxie and smarts...... lots of young guys on the team and hope is on the horizon.

Nice to walk away with the W though and the CIC..... no matter what the circumstances and thanks to Cougar Red for your "congrats"

I believe I said this in the Live game thread. But against Memphis and Houston, the Mids executed a far better offensive game plan than what was on display last Saturday.

Navy looked unbeatable vs Memphis. Everything was clicking like a well oiled machine.
