But his agent didn't. I think he is destined for better things, though, big p5 schools aren't discounting the fact its easy to win with a QB like doughty, so he is a risk.

you keep on praying brohm is gone. but remember that jesus has more important prayers to answer like people dying and starving instead of satisfying a whiny football fan. he may have more on his plate that poking jeff brohm in the back in the direction of greenville north carolina.

p.s. I don't blame you for wanting him gone. he owns marshall. his pimp hand is strong against doc and company.

Some of you Marshall fans always sound little a wimpy, whinny, little brother.

BUT BUT BUT...
WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR....
WHEN THEY COME TO HUNTINGTON...

Those are things losers say, or little brothers

LOSERS:
We'll get them and pay them back when they have to play us at home

Little Brother:
But mom, he's a meany
I'm going to be bigger next year

both fit a lot of Marshall fans...

BUT BUT BUT...
WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR....
WHEN THEY COME TO HUNTINGTON...

All 3 have come and pasted! Marshall, still loss...you sound just like my best friends whinny little brother when we were kids.

Eh. ECU pays more and fills their 50,000 seat stadium every week. I'm sure Brohm has bigger plans in his eyes, but I'd understand if he left.

Yep, kind of a ridiculous statement. Brohm has a football pedigree that anyone who understands the game would know what he brings. I'm actually surprised some of these schools didn't wait until after the championship game so they could interview him.

to be honest i figured he was as gone as the next guy. but i never thought it'd be a memphis or any other aac team and that's no real slam on those guys. it'd be significantly more money and there IS a possibility of a bigger bowl. but successfull coaches have egos and it's not to settle in an aac job. i was a bit worried about UVA. it's in the ACC and you can make the big time from there. when it went off the board i felt better. but until the last move shakes out i won't expect him on the sideline until i see him coaching the spring game.

he is a son of the commonwealth with a young family. BG is still a decent place to live and he'll make around 800k this year. we believe Louieville is his ultimate destination and Petrino has a way of screwing things up. he could be there a long while or short while with the money on short.

i believe both brohm and monken will end up with pretty good jobs down the road. i'm just going to enjoy the time we have him. would i love to see him stay long time? sure. do i expect it? not really. i've watched too many (including wku grads horn and taggart) head for the money. and never hated on them for doing that.

Lol, i don't care if Brohm leaves. WKU is about to be a dumpster fire, whether you realize it or not. Im just pointing out that it is easy to win when you have an all world QB, that is a fact.

Serious Question. Not a dig. Does WKU have some admission expections that Marshall has?

Again, not a dig. Just wondering if some coaches aren't getting thier full due if people question if they can recruit with no expectations. I really really like Doc, but think that may plaque him a bit. I can't see any other reason a P5 school hasn't come after him.

What?

I think he is butchering the word "exceptions." Meaning: do they take props? Any school in conference may take props, barring their own entry requirements.

What he's asking is if Brohm can recruit without being able to take a chance on kids that aren't qualified. And maybe other schools are worried about that.

They either do the work and qualify or they don't and cost a scholarship. It's a big gamble to develop props. But they don't understand that. Very few pan out, well.

Actually, since 2005, there is no such thing as a Prop 48 in Division I anymore. You either qualify or you don't. Non-qualifiers are not eligible for scholarships and may not participate in any manner with the athletic team.

My bad, I butchered the word. Auto spell.
