I agree. What the heck happened at ARK,for him to leave? I just read the former ARK offensive coordinator who was at PITT this year was just hired as OC at Georgia.

That's the crux of it. Jim Chaney was OC at Arkansas from 2013-14 and now he's at Georgia, so Pittman probably wanted to work with him again. They also worked together at Tennessee in 2012, so they go back a bit.

Plus, it can be argued that Georgia's a better destination than Arkansas is, even for an assistant.

Plus, maybe he's seen enough of the Dan Enos Show to tell him that more "For Sale" signs will be on his lawn every Saturday night if he sticks around.

Why? To me it seems that most coaches jump at the first good chance to leave BB.

Bielema does seem like a "if we win it is because of me, if we lose it is because of you" type of coach.

RE: Sam Pittman to Georgia
Pitt got a raise. Pitt is rapping up recruiting with Kirby is finishing business at Bama. Not shocked that pitt left he is one of the best in the business! A top OL coach and a top 25 recruiter. His contract has recruiting intensives. Should be on a short list for NIU interviews for the day that Rod Carey gets a call.
