If the season ended today, then the Griz would still make the playoffs. Losing at home feels terrible, but the big picture is not terrible and the team, I think, will regain their grit and grind ways.

yea, the West is a bit more top heavy this year, so I still think we make the playoffs, which is always good for the city and fanbase

it also allows us to keep our first round pick next year....miss the playoffs and we lose the pick

if we're not going to make it to the second round anyway, it might be best to go in as the 8th seed so we get a higher draft pick

Only if the pick is between 6-14. 1-5 and we keep it. Would need some lottery luck

Has anyone else heard this rumour?

Either way coaching has played a big part in this. Needs to call out players specifically for efforts on defense.
