HOME: Marshall, La Tech, Charlotte, Rice, Savannah St
ROAD: North Texas, UTSA, UTEP, ODU, Kentucky, LSU or Tennessee (one is 16 and other is 17)

can't remember or find the 6th home game

Savannah State home Sep. 10
Troy home Sep. 17

RICE

Home: Baylor, Prairie View A&M, UTSA, UTEP, UNT, FAU
Away: Army, Stanford, WKU, USM, LA Tech, Charlotte

UTEP

Home: NMSU, Army, Houston Baptist, ODU, USM, FIU, UNT
Road : Texas, Rice, UTSA, LT, FAU

Good get in having 7 home games. Was it 7 road games recently or for 2017 to get the 7 this year or just how it worked out?

Thanks for the help! Assuming no major changes (Monken, Lindsey -OC, and Woodfin - S&C coach for starters) and no freak injuries I like our chances to start 3-0.

I am so glad we are beck to the days of 7 home games!!! It makes for a really fun year!! And IF we are fortunate enough to win the east and host the CCG, that would be 8!!!

I remember back in the 1AA days, there were seasons where we had anywhere from 8 to 11 home games.

And during those seasons I remember USM having 4 or 5 home games while playing 7 road games many times

I know... There were some seasons right after we joined CUSA that we only had 5 home games in a season... That really blew.

I realize there aren't and haven't been many options in the past to choose from but considering how close Mississippi and Georgia are it kind of surprises me that this is the first time in 20 years (1996 at UGA) we have played a team from the state of Georgia

MARSHALL

Just saw where our home opener, which was supposed to be against Houston Baptist on Sept 3, is now open. The Houston Baptist game has been moved to Oct 1. Could mean a Home opener against a conference opponent to start the season---wonder who that might be???

Not an official announcement but yes Hamrick said we would be picking up an FCS for a 7th home game next year.
