Auburn sold 9,500 Birmingham Bowl tickets Sunday through Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Additional orders being taken:

I wonder where Tigers stand on sales?

RE: Auburn is selling tickets fast,
Idk but considering it's basically a home game for Auburn I'm not sure comparing our sells with theirs is exactly fair.

The attendance will be heavilly in Auburn's favor but I expect a good sized sea of blue there. Easy drive and not to hard to extend the holiday weekend an extra day or two.

Pat Dye is frequently a call in guest on a radio sports show I listen to everyday and he has been very complimentary of the Tigers. He has even said he does not understand how Auburn is favored and repeatedly said that Memphis is a very tough squad.

RE: Auburn is selling tickets fast,
If Auburn's allotment was 8,500 ours must be 8,500. It was posted in a different thread that someone was told by the U of M ticket office that our allotment was 10,000 but I don't see how/why the B'ham Bowl would make us responsible for selling more tickets than Auburn.

Lots of fans, including ours, don't buy their tickets through the school.

I've seen/heard a couple people buy tickets from B'ham directly. One has Auburn fans in their group the other didn't want to risk our allotment selling out and/or getting crappy seats because they lack TSF points.

I will appreciate such fans keeping their mouths shut with regard to UiofM's conference affiliation and schedules for football and basketball.

9500 is not good. Auburn fans hate legion field and dont wanna be there. I hope they play like their fans are whining.

I wish our fans would stop sticking their noses in other peoples business...you think it's super duper important folks buy their tickets from the UofM? cool, you do that...stop worrying about what other people do.

Telling other people "how to fan" is what GA does best.
