Makes sense. I mean if there is one thing Post-Season College Football is known for, it's being fair.

This just means the rose bowl is paying a lot of money to keep the competition away. If the playoffs expand, the major bowls get a little less major because there's more of them.

100 years of bowl tradition....
And so many bowls that King teams are necessary to fill them.
10 conferences, 10 champs to the playoffs
6 at large who are the highest ranked runner ups.
16 is the number they are looking for.

The biggest argument against this, that I have seen, is that college kids shouldn't be playing 17 games in a year, due to school and the fact that their "amateurs". Right now, the national champion has to play 15 games to get there. Whats two more games? Or maybe just shorten the regular season by 1 game (like it was 15 years ago)... FCS has a 16-team playoff, and they play 11 regular season games, why cant the FBS do the same?

If you want the bowls, thats fine... keep them for those who didnt make the playoff.

What a dingleberry. You just make the prelinaries the bowls, then the semis and NC seperate operations.
