Eventually the @nuggets staff are gonna realize that Will IS the best player on their team & make him a starter. ...Ofcourse, he doesn't make starter salary, so they have their hands tied.....As in the @NBA, you have to play the BIG $ players!

Our Will I was genuinely distressed when the season started without him. The team looked absolutely rudderless. No one smiled or talked to each other.

"Barton, through 21 games this season, is averaging 14 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2 assists per game, on a .460/.420/.875 shooting split, in 27 minutes per game. His shooting accuracy has been a pleasant surprise thus far, particularly from three-point range, where his previous career high was 30% from deep. This improved stroke doesn’t, however, feel like an unsustainable hot streak. He’s taking 3.3 deep shots a game this season - up from his previously very small career sampling of 1.2 per-outing back in Portland. He’s hitting 1.4 of them a game - this is no fluke."

"His PER (Player Efficiency Rating) is a 19.64. For reference, that places him 46th in the NBA, right between San Antonio’s Tony Parker and Houston’s Dwight Howard."

Will was actually the talk of the entire game! It was so AMAZING to hear the convo ALL about him,just as he was @ Memphis! I was soo stoked! I wanted to go to bed, but absolutely couldn't believe what I was hearing! Even the crowd was energized by Will!

During crunch time of the fourth qtr,after Will had scored a HUGE bucket to trim the lead, It was obvious that he was exhausted & needed a break. The announcers were ALL OVER this, as they mentioned that Will would get a much needed break but would be back SOON;refreshed to closeout the game......it was TOTAL star treatment, as he is the ONLY playmaker on that team!

Keep a watch on these developments, as the next few months are about to get VERY INTERESTING for Will!

I'm excited for the young man. I hope his body holds up against the grind of the game.

There is another former star 2 guard out of Memphis that could learn a thing or two from Will on attitude what it means with regards to being able to make it in the NBA.

Since getting to Denver he's really been playing well. He seems to have worked on his three ball and it has really taken him to the next level. Awesome to see.

Very happy for this young man and hope everything is well with him. He is a great talent who had to go pro earlier than he was ready. Had he been able to stay in college here he would increased his branding, and led us to greater things in basketball. I sense a really, really nice payday coming for him soon.

I was really shocked when he slid into the second round of the draft. The numbers he put up for us in his sophomore year were fantastic. I am glad to see he is finally getting some consistent PT and taking full advantage of it. It is always great to see a Tiger excelling!

I recall watching video of he & his family, along with Antonio going through the draft process.....Will was extremely disappointed about his stock (position in draft) basically plummeting! His HARD work & dedication is starting to pay dividends as he is becoming a household name. .....This is VERY exciting & will be a plus for Memphis as well #kudos2ALL
