This team should be 7-1 right now. UAB led Auburn and VA Tech with less than 45 secs remaining in both games and couldn't finish.

I agree. What keeps me positive is seeing us get better each game and knowing we have more room to improve. That's not the case for some of the teams we've played. Some of them are near their ceiling already. We have the opportunity to win the next 7 home games and secure out 3rd true road win by early January. 13-3 going to Old Dominion would squash all my ill towards our November performance. I'm excited.

Here's a fun stat...

Per UAB's site, which dates back to the 00-01 season, UAB has never won 3 true road games OOC during that time. The closest we've come was in 10-11 when we won at MTSU, at Troy, and at Nebraska in Little Rock.

We didn't deserve to win the auburn game in the manner we would have. We choked away the va tech game though.

RE: Basketball Radio Show Starts Tomorrow at Iron City
Though not intimately knowledgeable about basketball, I became a BBHC Haase fan when he held the UAB team together during the winter & spring of 2014-2015 when it was not known what would happen to the program after the administration killed football.

Not only did he keep the team intact when many could have transfered from what many feared was a sinking ship, he added quality players for this season. Therefore, I tend to have the same level of trust in his judgement in basketball topics as I have in FBHC Clark in his sport.

UAB is truly blessed to have these two coaches leading our two major sport teams.

Didn't deserve to win is one thing, leading with 14 secs left in the game is another.

Seven of UABs next eight games are at Bartow Arena and they are currently on a two game winning streak which could possibly result in a strong and successful mid season stretch of wins...........
