Crap. I had to sign up for twitter just to vote in the darn poll. I had been trying to avoid that.

I avoided Twitter for a long time but one I recognize it as the best place to get information I want. Unlimited choices. 140 character tweets leading to stories sometimes. You make decision on whether to read or not.

I developed relationships with local and national writers, analysts, etc and sometimes get good inside info they won't publish for various reasons.

Same here. I love hearing from some beat writers. I like following basketball Tigers on twitter, better than play by play.

You can literally sit and read Twitter all day. It's kinda like Memphistigers.org, except the insiders have better knowledge and the idiots are even wackier.
