He needs to learn the better way to tackle! While he probably saved a TD, he tackled by grabbing the returners back of the helmet.

RE: Wizard of Boz
He also has a 15 yard face mask penalty tackling a return man.

Great effort. Needs to work on technique.

Steelers up on Indy 35-10 with about 13 minutes to play.

And Steelers get sack and fumble recovery on 1st play deep in Steeler territory, so Boz's TD saving penalty works out for Steelers.

And Boz adds a 42 yard FG! 38-10 Steelers.

I think he needs a new nickname:

The Weapon.

Not PC, but that leg can sure change a game.

Not that there is anything wrong with Wizard of Boz...

Big win for Pittsburgh too in a must-have game for them after the Jets and KC won earlier today. The Chiefs have the easiest schedule the rest of the way, and Pittsburgh might have the toughest of the three (with three of four on the road, and Cincinnati and Denver the next two games). They do finish with Baltimore and Cleveland, but they probably need a split of the next two to have their best shot at making the playoffs.

Per facebook he set the single season record for points by a Rice alum in the NFL.

Way to go.

Wow this is great for Boswell. It makes me even more angry that the Texans brought him in twice and couldn't see his potential. Kicking is hardly a Texans strength right now.

Why would you think the Texans would ever make a smart decision on anything (OK JJ Watt an exception)?

More than remarkable. If my numbers are correct 24 for 26 on field goals. Amazing 10 of 12 over 40 yards. And perfect under 40 yards. One missed extra point those are 33 yards and I think that one bounced off the upright. Hope they sign him long term.
His points have meant the difference in several games. Have to root for the Steelers most of the time now.[/b]

He's tied for the NFL lead in points per game (with 3 other kickers). The way the Steelers offense is clicking, I could see him being #1 by the end of the year.
