I don't feel good about this game at all. That is not a statement on the quality of our team, which I believe is great and will continue to improve throughout the season, or that Xavier is that much better than UC (they're very even IMO). I just think that X and Mack have figured out how to best beat UC and to be honest they straight up OWN UC these days.

In addition, the game is back at the Cintas Center where all of the worst incidents have happened in recent memory. We can all go on for days about how the crowds are not kept in check and things tend to reach a boiling point in that building. Sadly, I feel something is going to happen that will end up affecting the game for the Cats and will set the Zip Em Up people on fire. Either way I have a very bad feeling about this one and I really hope that I'm wrong.

I'm using the Butler game as a gauge. X is probably better than Butler, plus it's at Cintas.

Muskies edge Bearcats 68-67. They hit some bs bank shot from half-court shot at some point in this one.

I mean in the 5 seasons since UC got back to being an NCAA tournament caliber program Xavier is 3-2 against UC. That's hardly "owned"... Last year was a 2 point game where I thought both teams played pretty well, but X won because a 20% 3 point shooter went 5 for 5 from 3. X could very well win, they are very good, but it won't be because "Mack and X have figured out how to best beat UC."
