Nice

I've never seen a play that only took .3 seconds

Couldn't believe Phx had a shot

There were 3 possessions in the last 2 seconds of the game. NBA games are truly never over.

Wonder if it made him happy or sad? I really do.

I had to leave to go to my daughter's Christmas musical at the end of the 3rd quarter. I was following the game on my phone. I see the Grizz go up 95-93 with 2 seconds left on a Conley layup. Then I keep waiting for the final and see the score go back down to 93-93 and Phoenix has the ball. Crazy game and crazy to follow without watching.

I have watched that play multiple times now. Joerger is a master of end game plays. Green started off in the corner. Gasol was past the free throw line with his man tight on him to clear the lane. Zbo and Conley set a couple of screens as Green rolled to the basket. Awesomely designed play.

There was analysis in the post-game article that the play was actually a hybrid play, left-over from the Hollins days.

nba.com game recap article Wrote:ANATOMY OF A WINNING PLAY: On the winning basket, Green came out of the left corner across the middle. Conley brushed Tucker - who was chasing Green - enough to slow him up, and Leuer wasn't able to get to the basket in time to contest Green's dunk on the lob from Lee. "(The play) got morphed between (former Memphis coach) Lionel Hollins and (former assistant) Johnny Davis. Then I tweaked it a little bit," Joerger said.

Unfortunately, I do not have time (I live in Nashville) and money (I am far from rich) to attend Griz games. Almost all my limited sports related budget goes to the Tigers. However, I am supportive of the Griz and watch and read about them when possible and post positively about them here.
