Are UNT people happy with the job your AD did on the coaching hire?

Yes...because the ad didn't make the hire...the new president had his hands all over this hire

The majority are very happy with the hire and still want the AD gone. Our new president was heavily involved in this process but to the exact extent we don't know.

The better question is what did usmbacker do with all the time he saved by using a question mark rather than typing out the word question?

This is is beginning to look more and more like the the President is now making the big calls and more importantly dictating the hows and whys of how things are being implemented in the AD right now.

Case in point, look at the sudden change in how this guy was presented/marketed to the UNT fanbase, alumni, lettermen and students vs the other recent hires. Combine that with a new/more functional approach from the AD as far as season ticket renewals and overall alumni contact and you tell me who is running the show.

Either in the last 6 months the AD has learned an entire new bag of tricks (while keeping the same staff) or someone else is pulling the puppet strings.

Dont really care either way as long as the AD gets moving in the right direction.
