RE: CUSA's ****** Bowl Contracts
Where is the Ark State fan post that predicted a 3TD victory and stated Ark State, App State and Ga Southern were better than all CUSA teams? I might need that on Dec 20th.

RE: CUSA's ****** Bowl Contracts
We will never get contracts with the p5 but not because they feel superior. When we were in the Liberty bowl it was CUSA champ vs SEC #8. So if we do get a matchup with them it is usually one of our best vs one of their mediocre. Plain and simple they are scared of losing or even worse, getting blown out. Hopefully Washington gets blasted.

Washington is not mediocre and was few TD's from 9-3. If Southern Miss wins, that would be CUSA signature win this year.

Try searching under my name. Might take a few hours.

And you won't find it but everyone needs a project

Nut kick emoticon? Always going for the high road.

Awe, don't act butt hurt. That was exactly the point. The only reason LA Tech doesn't have a lot more bowl appearances in its' history is because it was an independent for so many years. The stat you provided for USM only served to emphasize my point by showing how difficult it was for USM to make bowl appearances during its time as an independent as well.

Not butt hurt just baffled that you want to make this hostile when it isn't. And baffled anyone over age 17 uses a twit phrase like butt hurt.

Game is telecast on something called American Sports Network or ASN.

The ncaa has really fallen down on the job when it comes to giving new bowls the green light. But ASN won't be as bad as many are thinking. Nothing like being on any of the espn channels for sure, but it has already secured rights for the Arizona Bowl in 75 markets and says it will have at least another 50. Most likely will be available via RSN's on Dish and Directv. I would much rather have my team in this bowl than at home.

That was also a time with A LOT less bowls.

Correction, Trombone... only 1 school's fans are complaining.

And only a handful of THEM are. Most of us remember being independent, or earning 9-3, 8-4 seasons in a one-bowl league, and sitting at home.

After the way we played against USM and UTEP, these guys have another opportunity to redeem themselves. We are thankful for the opportunity.

How many are actually going to carry on on a accessible channel though? We've had this discussion on the SBC board because for a while it looked as if we might place a team in the game. In most of our markets, the American Sports Network affiliate was placed on a channel that very few could access. A lot of local stations put them on 24 hour weather channels and the like and forgot to switch over when the game started.

NCAA really dropped the ball letting this game get off the ground. My guess is it goes under soon.

There isn't such a fan. Though I'm sure Seminole Indian will be around shortly to inform you of all our XMen, and how we have vastly superior talent to you guys, and that you don't stand a chance. I know Beed is really fond of him.

Come to think of it, I should refer him to BB&B. That might be a thread worth reading.
