Did that for our first ever bowl. Shared a hotel for one night with 3 other guys, and split the gas 4 ways. Fun trip.
When we went back to Go Daddy in 2011 I actually was able to afford spending money and going to the activities in the run up before the game. Changed the experience entirely.

Take it from an old guy; make the trip! I made long road trips with my buddies in the mid-70's to the App game at Ball State and to Mardi Gra in New Orleans and we could barely pay for gas. This is how you make memories and I expect attending App's first bowl game will mean a lot to you down the road, not to mention a great time with great friends.
Come to our tailgate and we'll feed you and have plenty of beverage. Look for the white Dodge Magnum in one of the two tailgate lots. We should be set up around 10:30.

App will bring more to Camellia than GS to the Go Daddy and if we flipped bowls the opposite would be true.
If App were in the Go Daddy my crew of 7 would have been 3.
this is true. and app/bg and gs / ohio but have been better matchups for the sunbelt. you guys should have been in mobile. one thing i miss about fcs. the cream always rises to the top and you don't have to worry about the political bs.

Thanks for the video. I wish our folks were doing things like this along with offering bus trips for students. You can tell who is the newbie to the bowl scene.

Unfortunately, I'm in the opposite boat. Flip the bowls and my 0 would have been at least 2. Oh well, our alumni chapter will be throwing a viewing party for us unlucky saps stuck at home on the 19th!

Hopefully App will be able to pull this out. With Ohio's win over Marshall (albeit earlier in the season) I wouldtake great pleasure in having that to hold over their head.
great news, by game day I'm guessing between 6-7 thousand App fans in Montgomery, which is a very respectable number, if we can fill around 1/3 of the stadium no one can complain that the App fans didn't travel well to their first bowl game.
