B1G West absolutely deserved the Rose. And Iowa making it is an affirmation of how strong the division was this year.

Fiesta, vs Notre Dame, is hardly a minor bowl. So I don't want to see any OH St fans complaining. Iowa proved it wad a better tram than OH St, lady night.

Oh hey look, The Peach was treated better than The Fiesta! Oh wait....no, I was right again.

Although it should have been TCU, not a pretend top 25 team like OK St. That's going to be an embarrassing loss for the XII.

I think Iowa deserved the spot a tad more than osu. I really wish the committe didnt agree with me there though as the rose bowl is still special (to me, bigger drop off from rose to other than cfp to rose).

As is frequently the case, you were wrong. The Cotton, Fiesta, and Peach are all Access Bowls, which are lesser than the Contract Bowls. And I explained why the Peach was the likely destination for Houston - because the Fiesta had the G5 team last year.

Next year, the Cotton will get the G5 team.

it was because the Fiesta had Boise St last year. They rotate the G5 teams, and year 1 it's either Fiesta or Peach getting the G5 team, with year 2 it being automatic that the one that didn't get in year 1 gets in year 2. year 3 is always the Cotton(as only access bowl that year).

Don't bother Heinous with common sense. He's too busy imagining that the Fiesta has priority over the Peach, even though they are both Access Bowls.

I thnk it's a great point to say that Iowa fans are going to have the attitude of "we made the Rose Bowl!! This is once a generation, we gotta go!" whereas Ohio St fans are going to say "meh, been there, done that ... I wanted the playoff".

You aren't right H1. Fiesta and Peach are the same ******* level. The only reason why Fiesta gets ND/Ohio St is because of last year the Fiesta getting Arizona/Boise St- while the Peach got TCU/Ole Miss. The Fiesta, Cotton, and Peach are the same damn level.

No you aren't right. The ONLY reason why the Fiesta has Ohio St/Notre Dame is LAST YEAR. If Marshall had gone last year to the Peach, it would have been either Ohio St or Notre Dame vs Florida St in the Peach, with the other in the Fiesta against Houston.
