Edit: As of Sunday evening some of the links don't seem to be active, but I imagine they will be soon.

Spirit round trip Detroit to Ft Lauderdale had fares for about $280 tax(27%) included.

Just know that spirit charges 40 bucks a bag each way

And $100 for the bag that was fine as a carryon in Detroit, but five minutes before your flight from Lauderdale is suddenly too large. "Not our fault our people in Detroit screwed up-pay or stay here-it's not really our problem". They're bigger snakes than the one east and his friends caught.

Don't need more than shorts, t-shirt, and sandals here. Once or twice a year a sweater.

Toledo to Boca bowl
Haven't checked prices, but I fly to Boca a few times a year for work and I usually fly into West Palm. It is a smaller and more convenient airport. I would recommend flying there before Miami or FTL

A lot of times flying into WPB is more than Ft Lauderdale. As a general rule of thumb, everything is more expensive in Palm Beach County than Broward. Most convenient would be to fly your private jet into Boca Airport, right next to the FB stadium.

Its not the Palm Beach vs Broward thats the issue. Its many more airlines go into FLL than PBI. If the flights were the same price sure id choose PBI but in most cases there are more direct flights and cheaper flights into FLL. Id still check both. You might be surprised.

Airport code for west palm is PBI
airport code for Fort Lauderdale is FLL
