It's Toledo's "in" to a MACC game, actually. Temple from the MAC East, Toledo from the MAC West!

Id recommend flying into Fort Lauderdale, which has plenty of non-stop flights from Philadelphia at a lower cost than flying into west palm beach.

I would not stay in West Palm Beach unless enjoy driving half an hour to 45 minutes in heavy traffic to the game on I-95.

All the boca hotels they have listed are good. Although there others nearby that are less expensive. You will need to rent a car.

Psst, we're not in Philly. 03-wink

Probably confused us with Temple as we both start with a "T".

We both start with T-O-L except for Temple.

They wanted VA Tech------Somehow they seem to feel that playing a MAC school is beneath their dignity----although they didn't exactly tear up the MAC when they had their chance. Hmmm, maybe they remember their time in the MAC and are concerned about winning their bowl game.05-stirthepot

Beaches are cheap. Years since I spent a night on one but I know it was cheap.

There are hotels in the Boca area for every budget. Hillsboro blvd in deerfield beach is two exits south of glades (FAU exit) and the Laquinta is $72 a night.

Boca doesn't go easy on beach rats. They tend to get evicted to the glades smeared in bacon grease.

Sleeping on boca beaches is a no-no, you cannot camp overnight in boca parks or in a camper at the stadium.

Quality suites and Laquinta in deerfield beach are both in nice areas and in the low $70s price range per night.

RE: Toledo to Boca bowl
I am super pumped about this matchup to settle the AAC top 8 > MAC debate... Toledo did lose their HC but the rest of the staff will be with the Rockets until after the bowl game. Both teams ended on a loss and probably feel like they have something to prove. Temple will have 20,000? people in attendance to Toledo's 4,000 most likely... so we will see how that plays out. I doubt Temple could have gone anywhere else to play a team the caliber of the Rockets. The winner of this game will end in the top 25, so what more could you ask for???

This seems like a very competitive matchup for the Rockets. I don't favor us, but if the team can get fired up like they were against the team down south and play like they want it, maybe they can get in a position to win.

I believe there is camping at 5 Broward Parks including Deerfield Beach's Quiet Waters.

I think it is one of the Quality Inn's that I chose. It was under $75.

The quality suites in deerfield is a new hotel in a nice corporate park area.
The quality inn in boca is not bad but not nearly as nice.
