You mean Harris, don't you? 60 points in 2 games.

WOW 02-13-banana

How many in-season tournament championships does that make for Cullop & the Lady Rockets? 3 or 4?

Hope they bottled some of this weekend for future use!

This team is confusing me, which is a lot better than what they were doing to me before this weekend.

Yep, my stupid mistake. Already fixed it, but I should have known better.

One really bad stat though ... over 2 games, total bench points: 1. Yes 1. That's gonna have to improve a lot for the Rockets to continue to get better.

Oh my. That may be a record if they kept such records...

Nice win. Looks like they took the foot off the gas for the last 4 or so minutes as VCU cut 11 points off the lead, but the game was well out of reach by then.

This team really grew up right before my eyes! Their play at both end of the court was steps ahead of where it was in the first few games. The 89-61 win over a VCU team that physically handled ASU is a huge accomplishment for this team. Coming in winless and walking out of the Wells Fargo Arena with the ASU Classic Championship is flat out HUGH! The Rockets had four players in double figures in both games. I officially announce them as a TEAM!

Coach Cullop cleared her bench giving every player PT.

Zero bench points.

No Mikaela Boyd for the last two games. McIntyre gets 3 minutes. Plus I hear Lindsay Dorr may be done.

Does anyone know why McIntyre is playing so little? I thought she would be playing 10-15 minutes a game as a freshman.

Brenae Harris the MAC West Player of the Week. Described as a "one-person wrecking crew" against Columbia in the story on the MAC site.

She has had some problems playing defense. Against Dayton she gave up a lot of points. But that in normal for number 5 players in both men and women. Toughest transition from high school to college basketball is the number five position. She is has a lot of natural talent and will become a very good player. Really like what I saw of her in high school and in practice with the Rockets.
