Oklahoma is not as physical as Bama and Mich St. I would have not wanted to play both of them in back to back games.

But Oklahoma is even more explosive offensively than UNC and plays defense better than the Tar Heels. So it was going to be a tough game either way.

Hoping for a Clemson/MSU final. I want to see new blood start winning NCs this century.

Cheers,
Neil

Oklahoma has people fooled. They beat TCU and Baylor with backup QB's. Frankly, they almost lost that TCU game. Patterson went for 2 instead of playing for OT. Oklahoma is good, but I think Clemson is better.

Clemson has played well when expected to lose. Swinney is good with bulletin board material.

Been disrespected all season. The team thrives on it.

Good gosh, they have been ranked number one for weeks. They are far from being disrespected. But I understand that promoting that premise helps motivate the team.

Oklahoma hasn't seen a top defense all year.

but part of me still agrees with the conspiracy theory that dropping Okla to 4 was to protect Bama.

IMO, Bama is just as much a pretender as Oklahoma. I'm just glad Clemson doesn't have to play Michigan State.

You couldn't turn on an ESPN program last week without hearing about how UNC was going to beat Clemson and how the teams were fairly equal. Facts of the matter are we played a C- game and still won. The only reason UNC was in the game was stupid mental mistakes and the stats back that up.

To be fair ALL of oklahoma's "impressive wins" have come against back-up quarterbacks.03-shhhh

I think Clemson is going to shock the Nation and the Big12 with how awesome they really are.05-mafia

Clemson has indeed won the last 2 weeks without their best effort, but they have to cut it out with the "C" game stuff! Take some time off, then BRING IT!

How so? Oklahoma is the best match-up for Clemson IMO....

For one, you beat OU last year pretty bad....Dabo can go back and look at that tape

#2) I guarantee Oklahoma is overrated....they're good, but they beat an overrated Oklahoma State team, beat Baylor without their top QB, barely beat a TCU team without their top QB, and lost to Texas...

Trust me, this is the match-up Clemson wanted....you really don't want to have to play Michigan State and Alabama back-to-back

10 straight weeks of football is exhausting....I thought Clemson looked extremely sloppy against North Carolina, yet they still won

A rested Clemson with time to gameplan will be dangerous

We played a C- game too or did you not see our QB? Even when he had time to throw he missed open receivers.

Nah....that's the average game by Williams. The book was out on him years ago.....put him under pressure and he folds.

I think Clemson will be OK. Oklahoma has finished the season very nicely, but I think they're being way overrated as well. Not that they aren't playoff deserving, I just think Clemson is much better than what OU has seen this year, especially on D.

Not the avg game. He hadn't played like this since earlier in the year. VT put pressure on him and so did NC State. OL didn't play great and defense gave up too many 3rd downs.
