Let's see, only two coaches a year make it to the MACC. He's 3/3. The guy he lost to Friday has about the same amount of losses in two seasons as Rod does in three.

He's paid in the middle of the coaches of the MAC, the highest paid one is 0-3 vs Rod. You pay him more because you compare him to his competition and his resume is better than every single coach in the conference. Like him or hate him, compared to his direct competition his compensation isn't fair.

Now if you're saying he can't go big time, that's a different argument, but he's 5-1 vs the two guys that fat pay days to leave the MAC.
