Agree. The rest of the SEC East won't have to worry about them in the near future. Can't believe they watched him dismantle Florida's winning program and still wanted him.

He never lost to Tennessee. As long as he keeps that up it's a good hire in my book.

Tennessee had a "Dooley" problem during those years. Jones is a much better recruiter/coach - IMO, UT will be challenging for the SEC East next year and maybe the SEC title in two or three years.

He was gone from Auburn when he thought he was the head coach and got an additional 15 yard penalty for dog cussing a ref after an iffy late hit. It's not a coordinators place to do that. That told me me all I needed to know on the sideline dynamic that's been at play at Aubbie this season.

Yeah, Boom MF'er isn't HC material. It's been said by several recruits that went on Officials at Florida it was a disorganized mess.

They have been clinging on the bowl for almost two years.

4 years ago, Muschamp was HC at Florida. They recruited a certain QB. They passed on that QB. Today, Muschamp is not at Florida, and Florida has no offense due to losing their starting QB for the year.

The QB that Florida passed on.......Paxton Lynch.

Some of these coaches , the smart ones have figured out that it's not all about conference affiliation. If it's not a top 3-4 job in the conference you can probably make as much money at a G5. Sadly Barry Odom may find this out in about 3 years

If someone forced Spurrier out, or made him so pissed he just said "f*** it", it just blew up in their face. They need to be highly concerned about their own job right now.

If he makes the right OC hire, they will be good. Because his defense is what just got FL to the SEC championship game.

The entire east side is now littered with coach's who are new to the head role or have been fired before. UT and Florida may be smiling.

The more I look at the SEC hiring practices, the more it appears that they hire due to knowledge of how you have to work recruiting. As in, know how to work it without getting caught. Because they dont appear to trust anyone else from another conference.

Muschamp was a terrible fit for Florida, he will fit much better at USC.
