IOWA Impressive
I thought that IOWA was an extremely tough team last night. I think that their quarterback is a handful to defend. Great game Hawkeyes.

RE: IOWA Impressive
Well, no matter which team won, they were going to have a strong game to prepare them for the CFP better than what anyone else had this weekend. I think MSU proved they could beat anyone else in the top 4. The Hawkeye Nation will be pulling for MSU now.

CJ has one more year in him, so perhaps next year will be his year.

It was a terrific game last night, the endzone interception by Michigan State where the ball landed on Bullough's back and stayed there for a second is a play I have not seen before and may not ever again.

Iowa will be a great Rose Bowl Representative. Stanford is a fine team but Iowa will run up and down the field on the Cardinal.

Will Iowa go to the Rose Bowl? Is that set?

RE: IOWA Impressive
Each time I watched Iowa this year, I wasn't too impressed. Granted, it was only a few games. But they are just tenacious the way they play so tough and smash-mouth ALL THE TIME and I finally understood why they are so darn good. They just tear down the opposition, beat them up, and make them sorry that they showed up to play and I respect the heck out of that. And when I saw them doing that to Michigan State last night, I knew Iowa was for real and I was hoping that both Michigan State and Iowa could be in the Playoff but it was not meant to be.

I hope the Rose Bowl selects Iowa and not Ohio State (or someone else).

Iowa to the Rose Bowl. I was somewhat hoping that they would get overlooked so that they would come here to Phoenix to play Notre Dame but Iowa to the Rose Bowl is great. I honestly don't mind at all that they will be in the Rose Bowl instead of the CFP. This is a huge stepping stone for the program and Beathard will be back next year.

This SPARTAN will be rooting for all my brothers in the BIG.
I must confess I never root for the "Lil Sister" from Ann Arbor though.

RE: IOWA Impressive
Best Game of the Year by far IMO....

I really feel for Iowa, I thought they outplayed Michigan State for a good part of the game.....

That 11 play drive by the Spartans though....that's the biggest gut-check time I've seen in awhile

True championship football

It is scheduled now and I think the bowl selection committes did a great job picking teams in matchups fans will be interesting in watching.
