A quarterfinal home game would have been nice but prolonged the agony that many of us felt when our team's D was exposed somewhat against Towson when Vad one of his worst turnover games since arriving at JMU and against Richmond. This year's team wasn't good enough to overcome shortcomings of it's defense.

But then we would've had to wait a week to complain about anything!

Best game of the night- Mich St/Iowa. 2 teams that played great defense. Bama & Clempson also headed to Final 4 playing great defense What a novel concept.

Had MM incorporated the offense that he used for his final season, about three seasons earlier, then he'd still be coaching JMU. It was too late. He made some bad player decisions, but we always went back to the offense as what we most disliked.
