Thought I read somewhere that he is not projected to play QB in college.
I believe he tore his acl in the playoffs

Most not have been a major injury because I was told he will be starting in the Nike 757 All-Star game this Saturday

Yeah, that's how I took your post. Not a knock on the Dukes, but more a statement about how Temple went from a terrible team to a highly-ranked team very quickly this year (a la the Dukes in '04). Does anyone think we would have gotten him if Temple had been a top 20 team all the way through the recruiting process?

Wasn't an option after Montel Aaron from California committed. Our top target was Rutgers commit Anthony Russo, who still might flip to Temple.

Well he's a Temple guy talking about a potential Temple commit.

RE: 2016 Starting QB
Couple days ago was announced the 2014 starting Pitt QB, backup this past season behind a Tenn transfer, a former 4 star, is transferring as a grad student. Kid is from Cleveland, Tenn. He could transfer to a I-A and play immediately as a grad student. Also worth noting he stated he wanted to be closer to home and Cleveland, Tenn is about 30 miles from UTC. Remember, UTC was in the playoffs the last 2 seasons behind their 2 time So-Con offensive POTY QB who was a senior this season.
"...."Voytik told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Sam Werner that he has a list of transfer destinations in mind, but that he does not wish to disclose them at this time. Having the chance to start next season and be closer to his hometown of Cleveland, Tennessee, will play big roles."...."

Not worth starting a separate thread, as its likely he transfers to another I-A or UTC to be closer to home, but after all, a whole thread was started on that Murray kid, who has ZERO chance of coming to JMU...

Only 6.5 short hours from Cleveland, TN to Harrisonburg. Bring it!

Yeah, better than about 9 hrs from Pitt... If he wants to be closer to home and be a likely 1 and done 2016 starter (so I assume no P5 or TO teams (GSU); and since UAB is just bringing back football, that leaves within about 5 hrs (don't know about their QB situations):
-MTSU: about 2 hrs
-GA St: about 2 hrs
-Vandy: about 2.5 hrs (I know P5 but threw them in)
-WKU: about 3.5 hrs
-ASU: about 4 hrs
-L'ville: about 4.5 hrs
-Cincinnatti about 4.5 hrs
-UNCC about 5 hrs
-Memphis: about 5 hrs
Maybe missed 1 or 2, but you get the point....

RE: 2016 Starting QB
I think DJ Daniels is the guy that will surprise... he runs a Vad like pace.
If we have an uptempo offense with QB reads, this might be the guy that battles Schor for the spot.
