Pfft...

Need a viddy on catches.

Our passing game is great as long as we don't have to be accurate, or have to catch the ball, or pass block.

If Bowling Green can defend the run we might as well forget winning the game. I can t see how our passing game will improve much in 2 weeks

They held NIU to 107 yds. Hence the cancelled room.

Good.

These kids deserve our support in good times and in bad. Make sure you cancel your room next year too.

I give plenty of support. Someone would say too much. I choose not to spend more money or time on something that I'm not enjoying. Honestly, I haven't had much fun this season. I want to enjoy the holidays and not be pissed off. If you are able to go and have a good time, more power to you. 04-bow

God, this is glorious. One month you guys are the Boise State of the East Coast and the next you can't bear to spend another dime on the program.

Wonderful. Glorious. I'm enjoying this immensely.

I'll be there. Went to plenty of games during the BVG/Hatcher years, I can take a loss to see the first GS bowl game. Would hate for a bunch of fans to miss out on our first bowl win because we lost against a rival that was also fighting for their first bowl.

I stayed to the bitter end Saturday, including waiting for the Georgia State players to leave our field. I'll be there for the bowl game as well.

You have to be there for the bad, cause it makes the good days that better.

NIU was playing with a freshman 4th string QB making his first start with the other 3 wandering around the sidelines in street clothes. BG is no joke, but GaSo's offense can be a bugger to play against. GaSo was inconsistent this year but ask UGA about the competitiveness of the Eagles. I wouldn't give up on this team just yet. Get Breida healthy and go beat the team with the nation's second ugliest uniforms (Wyoming wins the ugliest).

RE: Official: Georgia Southern vs Bowling Green in Go Daddy
It is quite the meltdown on our board anytime we lose a game, especially vs. a conference team. I supported this team through the horrid Van Gorder year, the mediocre Hatcher years and I will continue to support it. This year was a good year at 8-4. It was not a great year but a good year. 3 beatdown losses certainly hurt, especially when 2 of them were delivered by conference foes, but many fan bases in this conference and others were do anything for an 8-4 year. I am glad we are going to our first bowl game and I would be very surprised if you don't see a different GS team in Mobile than the one we saw yesterday.

The reality is with our offense as it is we just can't fall behind by 2 touchdowns plus. The chances of a comeback given that are not very high. I have said it all year but we MUST get better at throwing the ball. We don't have to throw it 30 times a game but we desparately need to be efficient throwing it 12-18 times a game. This year our passing game went backward. We were a better throwing team last year with better receivers and because of that last year's team was a better team than this year's version. On defense I would argue we were better this year but the defense will not stop teams forever. In our losses we just didn't score enough.

App. fans are very similar to us however. If you want go back and look at their board 3-4 games into last year and they were calling for Satterfield's head. Even after their loss at home to Ark. St. this year there was a sentiment on their board that the coaches were awful.

You need to put it in perspective. You are letting the outcome of a game, that's what it is at the end of the game, affect your emotions during the holidays. Thats on you. Take a day off and decompress, I doubt all those 18-22 year olds wanted to lose that game. Don't be like the guy in the the beer garden that was so loud and negative that everyone in our section and even the students were turning around and saying what the heck. It be alright, Georgia state owed us a beating but we'll take it out on bowling green
