Has conference announced when they were revealing the bowl selections

It would be nice to know. I figured once WMU got their official invite the rest would fall into place... certainly after the game last night, but we must bow to our espn overlords and wait for the "selection" show. dicks.

4pm selection show on ESPNU. I bet a lot will start trickling out before then.

I think it will be pretty slow until the playoffs are announced at noon tomorrow.

You'd think something would have leaked by now, though. Especially for G5 vs G5 bowls.

Sun Belt has leaked their initial placements but I dont think they are official because if South Alabama wins today they will get a 5th bowl, and may send their top teams to a better bowl outside of their tie ins

No, if South was to win, we would fill our secondary tie in with the Arizona Bowl for our 5th slot.

South's getting pasted though, so it's a non issue. Officially, Bowls can leak, they just can't announce officially until after the playoff show tomorrow.

No, that bowl has special permission from the NCAA to announce early because of passport issues. No other bowl can officially announce.

There are a lot of obvious wink wink nudge nudge invites here. BYU's AD left cryptic comments about playing in Las Vegas, Arkansas State passed out New Orleans Bowl buttons to fans at its game today, but neither bowl has officially announced.

At the risk of being Captain Obvious, it appears the playoff teams will be MSU, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Clemson. What that would do to the rest of the bowls, I won't pretend to know.

It's more than just those teams. It's who gets selected in all of the new years 6 bowls that will effect the bowl picture

The Vegas Bowl officially announced BYU on the 2nd. It wasn't very cryptic...it was officially announced by all parties involved.
