I was there, on the 50 yard line in the club seats (129). Where I have been every game this season. Why so salty? Haters gonna hate...
Pot meet kettle...
Ha! Priceless! Please show me where I hated on someone?
Are you serious with that question? The reply above mine was not posted by you? If not you, then who?
Yes, I am very serious with that question. There are enough a-holes on this board, I purposely try my best to make sure the few post I do make, do not come off as a d-bag/ a-hole.
So, because I was wondering why the Temple cheer, mascot and /or band did not make it to the game makes me a hater?
Or, because I said Haters gonna hate?
Please...Houston fans have been trolling Temple fans/ticket incident nonstop. No matter your intention with creating this thread, you had to know that same trolling body would jump on board.

Really? Are we talking about the same thread? I did not create this thread... Someone else did, I just agreed during the game...people in my section made the same comments about the lack of cheer, mascot and band.

I don't like smartXXXs either, although that term does fit a small number of Cougar fans that have a need to make other conference members, I've not found that term to describe you. My recollection is that you've been a reasonable guy.
Congrats on the championship. Well played game.

Not sure why someone would get so upset over a simple question. It's a fair question...
Oh. I'm sorry. Was the OP a question?
Can't sell out a 40K stadium? That blows donkey dong. Stop looking for other teams to fix Houston's problems.
Ha! Good point! I guess I read it as a question... Because I was wondering why they were not there myself.
You and many other Houston "fans" weren't there. How does a ranked, one-loss team playing for a conference championship and an Access Bowl AT HOME not sell out their stadium?
Something about glass houses comes to mind...
We sold nearly 36,000 tickets in five days with ZERO help from Temple. The 50 number of tickets sold by TU was clearly factual. Despite what you and others might say, I was pleasantly surprised by today's attendance. A decade ago, we would have been thrilled to have 20,000 Coog fans at any home game.

And not a large stadium at that. If you can't sell out a 40K home stadium, it's not your opponent's problem.

RE: Temple band
Rookie sore loser/internet tough guy.
It was a great game, and the Temple fans that showed were pretty much spread out around the stadium. My stepson and I had fun chatting with them before, during and after the game. Still though, it would've been nice for the band to be able to make the trip, it's one of the reasons why I like the college game-day atmosphere over the NFL.

No, he is pathetic. And so are you. You guys really know how to celebrate.

Ha. I am nothing if not a veteran sore loser. Not sure about the tough guy part, but sounds good. I personally can't wait to hear Houston's band play while you get blown out at the Silk-Hat-on-a-Pig Bowl.
How's that, Counselor?

It's finals week next week. This may be shocking to some in Texas but universities in the north tend to care about academics.

Maybe I missed it.. but my airline ticket to Houston was going to be $1$1300...but again.. the home team in their own conference championship game requires the visiting team to help sell out the stadium?
We would have had at least 40k if the game was in our building...

You didn't have 30,000 for your last home game to secure your berth in the title game but you would have easily sold 10,000 more tickets in five days?
You can buy end zone tickets for $20 for a Temple game. The lowest ticket price for the Conference title was $40. So, yeah, good luck with that.
As for the academic smack... get real. UNC, USC, Stanford, and Air Force brought their bands to their title games.

RE: Temple band
I know this is crazy, but some people go on vacation over Thanksgiving. The only home game I missed this year was the last one, because I go to Miami Beach every year. I haven't been to the last home game of the season in probably a decade.
