Been there. College tournament hockey. Miami lost to Boston College on year in the regional finals in sudden death OT, we also beat Michigan in the regional finals in sudden death OT, and of course we lost the National Championship game to Boston U in sudden death OT. The tenseness and tightness in your stomach almost makes you ill, and the pressure is tremendous because there is so much on the line and it can go on and on and on or be over in an instant. Then you are either going to be absolutely ecstatic or totally depressed.

Third College Cup in the last 7 years. Just need two more wins to make it two national titles in that same time frame (with one runner-up). If the Zips bring it home, its hard to argue against Akron being the best program in college soccer.

Yeah, its crazy. I don't really follow soccer, but have gotten into this run. Akron went up 1-0 and I was feeling good, then Creighton tied it like 5 minutes later and I was like I can't watch this. Followed the last 40 or so minutes on Twitter. I can only imagine what it was like for the Akron soccer diehards.

We couldn't get it done (lost in the Sweet 16 to Clemson), so I'm rooting for Akron to finish the job and bring home their second national championship. Fear the Roo!
