Yep. The actual bowl pay out is $6M. Last year, $2M went straight to Boise for expense reimbursement. $4M went to the MWC.

The MWC gave 50% of their share to Boise under the MWC revenue sharing rules. The other 50% was split evenly among the 12 schools.

Of course, the other $18M received by the MWC from the playoff pool was split evenly.

So Boise made $5.7M while the other schools made $1.7M each.

Houston will have a chance to make their season the best single season in the AAC's brief history if they can pull off a win against a top 10 team.

Isn't there some other tiered pay out for the G5 based on conference rankings?

There is, but I dont think it makes a lot of difference in the grand scheme of amounts.

Who do you think Houston will get to face?

I know where a portion of ECU's share is going.

Assuming Clemson doesn't blow a 35-16 lead, Houston will almost certainly play Florida State in the Peach Bowl.

What everyone did in OOC, and keeping 3-4 teams in the Top 25 throughout most of the season is why we are all celebrating. It was a group effort.

Correct. I said the same thing back when Memphis was being talked about for a playoff spot. None of this happens without a group effort.

FSU is far from bad. Dalvin Cook is a freak... he will be your single greatest problem.

That Houston run defense is stingy though, I think UH wins this one
