:-)

Congrats Stan, et al. Your guys came to play and our guys did our best to not stand in your way.

Wish we'd have kept it closer.

Enjoy Orlando.

We had plenty of opportunities, just whiffed on them all.

Have to say though, this loss definitely brings it closer to an actual rivalry.

Stop checking yourselves out in the mirror and win your GD bowl game.

I think I'm still in disbelief that it even happened. I sat there and watched it all live, and as bad as our offense was playing, I knew we were going to lose when state went up 20-7. Their defense played better than I ever thought possible. Tremendous turnaround from the game last year.

This rivalry just got more fun.

Ga State has shown glimpses of being a very good team for a while now. This is not a bad loss for Ga So. The Panthers just happened to put a whole game together against their friends to the south. Everybody just win their bowl games, and we'll all look good going into next season.

The funny thing is, I had a feeling this might happen. Really felt like Southern was getting a little caught in their bowl destination and overlooking state.

After the WV, App and GaSt game, the QB job will be wide open in the spring as the passing game must be improved to beat good, athletic, well prepared teams. Fritz knows this and has to
Bite the bullet and make the transition. He has not recruited well at the WR position so he better hope the redshirt FR are good.

Gotta give credit where it's due... State had to win to get a bowl and did just that. You took care of business. Congrats.

HOWEVER... Your team's conduct on the field and on the sideline was deplorable! The type of thuggish behavior I'd expect from juvenile delinquents. I'd be wholly ashamed of my football team if I saw my Eagles act like that, no matter who the played.
