We blew two chances in the red zone to keep this within 7, which would have been more respectable. And it is nice we at least can say we have played in the MACC for 6 straight years.

Though its hard to argue Toledo vs BGSU wouls have had a better crowd and better game for prime time MACtion.

Toledo should win occasionally over decent teams at home.

hell of a run that will continue...we're going to be better next year guys, seriously, a lot better...

To think NIU had a realistic chance playing 5th string QB was silly..yes Toledo shoul have beat WMU and have been playing tonight...but they sh!t the bed. If Graham is healthy for bowl game watch out..this NIU team will will be hard to stop.

I see a bright future for this program.....we have shown a consistent pattern of winning and producing. Graham and Fielder got valuable experience in our final games.....yes, they were learning on the fly, but that will help as our team moves forward.

Funny thing is they might be our third and fourth string guys. Hare might come back, I certainly hope so anyway and Santa and/or Maddie might be ahead of Graham and Fiedler.

At any rate both Graham and Fiedler are HUSKIES that stepped up when we needed them.

There was a full on "F*** Toledo" Chant from NIU/BGSU fans leaving the game. Don't apologize. Just be grateful we will be stacked for next year. Go huskies!!!!!!!

OL line needs to be stronger and better. Get in the weight room boys.

NIU intercepted a pass in the end zone, recovered a fumble inside their own 20, and ran a LONG INT back for a TD.

And still got blown out.

This is the mentality that should probably stop. We didn't really "blow" anything tonight. We got our ass handed to us.

Actually Toledo does occasionally win over decent teams at home. The thing is that for whatever reason the Rockets are totally terrified at the thought of having to go to Ford Field and play in a MACC game and are willing to take whatever steps are necessary to avoid doing so-----it is crippling phobia just like "fear of flying".

Usually losing the annual game to NIU each year is sufficient to accomplish their goal of avoiding the MACC game, but this year because NIU didn't take care of business against Ohio like they were supposed to, Toledo had to go to great lengths and pull out all the stops in the WMU game to prevent an unwanted and feared trip to Detroit this year----a massive heroic effort was required to be sure, but they were up to the challenge---to their credit the team never played that poorly even back during the point shaving days. Mission accomplished.

Toledo has a history of being inconsistent - beating some P5s and then losing at home in "upsets" - primarily because they are up and down defensively.

It would be maddening if a Rocket fan.

Damn.... they need an ATTITUDE. It could be the way our offense is structured, running from the gun all the time. Don't feel are guys come off and hit people, they are more of pull and slide. Get physical. Stanford - Michigan - Alabama are physical teams that are not always in the gun.
