Nope. Just that we have complete idiots running the ship over here. We played a great strenght of SOS ranked top 45 by the RPI formula and several other computers, were one of only 7 G5 teams to beat a bowl P5 team going to a bowl and our 7 losses were to 5 teams in the AP top 30 vote getters or ranked and two other losses were to bowl teams that beat either a ranked team like Temple or an 8-4 Miami.

If you lose your starting QB to injury preseason and OC to Oklahoma and face a schedule like we played you deserve a mulligan in what was already a rebuilding year. It's not like we weren't competitive either. We took BYU and Florida to the last play on the road almost beat Temple as well.

At the end of the day we could hire most any coach from the Sun Belt we wanted but I expect the idiots that run our athletics now will screw it up after this.

agree, you don't fire him for this season, he deserves one more year, got to wonder if something happened behind closed doors that got him fired

This is what I heard as well, but not from Twitter. At least he can leave with his head up and with integrity for being loyal to his guys. He will get hired somewhere else soon.

Also heard that UNC D-coordinator, Chezik(sp?) is a leading candidate for the job. I think that would be a terrible hire for them, so I hope they do it.

I'm personally glad to see East Carolina struggling and the leadership in disarray. This helps the coastal colleges for recruits and slows the train that East Carolina was riding. The program truly looked like it was heading in the right direction, but now it could be off the rails for the next 5+ seasons. Great for SBC members

Shawn Elliot is still on the recruiting trail for USC. It looks like he will be retained by Muschamp.
